Principal's Message

 

As the proud Principal of LaMotte Elementary, it is my pleasure to extend a warm welcome to all students, parents, staff, and members of our community. At LaMotte, we are dedicated to providing a nurturing and supportive learning environment where every student can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

 

Located in the vibrant neighborhood of South Los Angeles, just south of iconic landmarks such as the Coliseum, Exposition Park, and the University of Southern California, our school is deeply rooted in the rich history and culture of our community. We are proud to serve a diverse student population, celebrating the unique backgrounds, talents, and perspectives that each individual brings to our school family.

 

At LaMotte Elementary, we believe in the power of education to transform lives and empower future leaders. Through our rigorous and engaging curriculum, innovative teaching practices, and dedicated support services, we strive to equip every student with the knowledge, skills, and confidence they need to succeed in school and beyond.

 

As part of our commitment to excellence, we are honored to partner with the University of Southern California through the Neighborhood Academic Initiative Program. This partnership provides our students with access to additional resources, mentorship opportunities, and academic support, helping to bridge the gap between our school and the university community.
